I came to China in September 3rd 2017, it was an unforgettable experience because it was my first trip, my first fly and firstdays away from my family. I remember how after landing my first thoughts were “What will Ieat here?”, but it didn’t takelong before I started trying Chinese dishes and I liked them day by day, more and more. Ihave been in China for 4 years and everyday I eat Chinese food, and still have something new to try.

Firstly, I like Chinese culture, and even love more that they areready to help and always understand people in difficult situations. When I began my studies,I found Chinese language very difficult, especially speaking with the correct tones. The first week,it was very exciting, I was looking forward to the first lessons, meeting with teachers and classmates.

Then exactly a year later in 2018, I was having the same feelings again as finish the studying language year and starting my first course of the major. I was so proud of myself for learning as much Chinese as I could in short time and I was excited and looking forward to meeting my Chinese classmates and teachers. I remember the first time I entered the classroom and saw so many students in one class, and only then I learned that if I don’t make it early in class, I would have to stand the whole lesson, since there would be no seats.

I had a lot of questions such aswhy Chinese students don’t cookin their dorms like foreign students, why they wake up so early and go to bed so late. Why they spend so much time in the library and many other questions.Year after year, I found answersto all my questions. I myself began to eat constantly in the dining room because there was notime to cook in the dormitory by myself. I started to wake up early because I had to prepare earlier for the class.

As days go by, I became moreand more involved in student life in China. I have come to really like this life routine. We study hard with all our strength andrest when we need it. I have avery good opportunity to be here. For me, studying is the beginning of all achievements in my life.

All the time that I have beenhere, I have been learning something new every day. When in January 2020, notices about theCovid -19 and quarantine were issued, I was scared, I wanted togo home but I couldn’t. I talkedto my teacher and she reassured me, she said it was safe hereand that the teachers would take care of us. I received many words of encouragement from teachers and Chinese classmates;they often asked how I was doing, if I needed help, and if so,at any time I could ask them.

During the quarantine, I learned some important things and duringthat time I was able to understand many things. I am verygrateful to the University and every teacher, for all the care and the love they gave us, they supported us and much more. They did and still do everything for our safety; they help make ourlife better. They manage to orga-nize different types of activities, different events and other more interesting things. I’ve also learned a lot of things, about theworld, about other people and generally about life.

I hope I will be lucky to stay here further; I would like to study in China for a few more years, there is a developed edu-cational system, there are many different programs. And further, the most I like is its Cultural Festivals, and Mid Autumn Festival because I like moon cakes.Among Chinese food, I like 麻辣烫,包子,菜,饺子,鱼汤 and ofcourse milk tea (奶茶). I tell all my friends about life and study in China. I would like all my friends and relatives to be ableto get education here. In fact, Itry to help them choose universities and majors in China. I tell them about different universities, different major sand different cities. Although I have not yet been to many cities in China, but I would very much like tovisit many places. For example,I have not yet been to the Great Wall of China, I really want togo there. I read about many other Chinese sights, and my dreamis to visit all places and manycities before graduation. I am nota lover of travel, I do not like flights and trips at all, but in China, there are so many placeshere that I really want to see;ancient villages, old houses and natural places. Hopefully in the future I will have such an opportunity.

Studying abroad has been a dream of mine since childhood; I could not even imagine that Iwould have the opportunity to study in China. My dreams cametrue years later. As they say, know how to dream and go to your dream.Dreams do come true!
